Glorium is playing at The Mohawk in Austin on Friday Aug. 20 for the Aasim Birthday Party 2010. Also playing will be Follow That Bird, Manikin, The Royal Butchers, Shitty Carwash, Golden Boys, and Pistol Pistol & the Crystal Fawn (formerly known as A Tiger Named Lovesick). Starts at 8PM, US$10.

All about Golden Hour Records
This is music life. En VIVO! There's currently over 85 artists represented on the site, a very small slice of the big Texas underground music world. Since 1990 I've been recording my friends' punk bands in and around Austin, TX, almost always in a live setting, where you can hear the fried amps, smashing glass, random conversations, breakups, hookups, and hangups. It's not about perfection or auto-tuning. Some of these recordings are pretty raw. It's at these small venues, or house parties where I think music has the ability to reach into our souls and grab hold, set up shop and camp out there, connecting us with the musicians and spirit of creativity.

This CD compiles some of the group's favorite singles, session outtakes, and work that was never released, adding up to 18 tracks. Screen printed covers by Bearded Lady and a limited run of 200.
