What Is Golden Hour Records

This is music life. En VIVO! There's currently over 100 artists represented on the site, a very small slice of the big Texas underground music world.

Since 1990 I've been recording punk bands in and around Austin, TX, almost always in a live setting, where you can hear the fried amps, smashing glass, random chatter, breakups, hookups, and frenzy.

It's not about audio perfection or auto-tuning. Some of these recordings are pretty raw, but it may be the only document of what the artists sounded like in some cases.
