Nikki Holiday/Jon Rueter solo project Fire Island was a solo project from Jon Rueter, or sometimes known as Nikki Holiday, who played in Prima Donnas, New Girl Art Trend Band, Rock Hudsons before moving to San Francisco. His live performances were here and there, not very often, but one show at Spider House was recorded for Golden Hour Records. It was released as a split cassette with Cyrus Rego, which was a solo project from Eddie Robert. This cassette is referred to as a bootleg, as no permission was granted to produce the split cassette, but an arrangement was agreed upon for a song from each to be on the Capitol City Signals compilation tape, GHR 20.
