Antarctica formed in 1995 to play at The Alter Ego Party, thrown by photographer and scientist, Stacy Thompson.
Linus, Paul and Ernest from Glorium switched instruments. Ernest played drums, Paul played guitar, and Linus played bass.
This new arrangement threw them into the unknown, where freedom was embraced.
They recorded a ton of stuff, and released 2 tapes on Golden Hour, GHR 10 and GHR 37. They also appear on the Austin Live Houses tape comp, GHR 08.

They played their last show in 1998 at a party, joined by Malcom Hamilton on keys. That show is GHR 37.
