The Andromeda Strain was playing around Austin in 1993 - 1996. They recorded a 7" at Sweat Box Fall of 1993 which came out on 6" Doylie Records. You might be lucky to come across one in the used bins.

They broke up in 1996, and Neil began playing with ...Trail of Dead, Eddie began playing with Paul Newman, and Steven played drums in Sixteen Deluxe.
